Some of my predominant practices include Appalachian Conjure and Folk Magick (my family's heritage), Cosmic Witchcraft, Kitchen and Green Magick, Elemental, and Fae Witchcraft, Tiny Craft (Magick of my Inner Child), Light Work and Shadow Work.
I work intuitively as well as with what was passed down to me through my family's Appalachian heritage. I believe that in order to bathe in the light, one must be comfortable in the darkness. Balance is at the forefront of my priorities.
I have been drawn to witchcraft and the occult for as long as I can remember. As a child I would create potions and brews with food items from the kitchen, putting my intention into them. I protected myself as early as four years old, with shields and bubbles, as I was always highly sensitive and knew that I was different from my peers. I could sense other people's emotions and energy. Growing up, I somehow always knew if someone had good intentions or not.
At the age of 12, I really started to seek out more knowledge and found that there was so much of it to soak up! At the age of 14, I saw The Faeries' Oracle by Brian Froud at a bookstore, and thus with my mom's blessing, I purchased my very first deck of cards. I recognized the artwork as being from the artist behind Labyrinth, my favorite movie then and now, and was instantly drawn in.
I am 35 years old as of today, and still find that I am constantly learning, evolving, and experimenting with what works for me.
